The apartment is located on medieval Via dei Capocci, which takes its name from a wealthy family, originally from the city of Viterbo, which was particularly powerful in the early Middle Ages. So much so that they had built a stronghold for themselves in the area: the main tower for it can still be seen on nearby Via Lanza.

Compared to other properties in the Monti district, this flat is particularly rich in natural light, due to a double exposure – it overlooks the alley but also a lively courtyard.

The apartment, on the ground floor, features an antique wooden front door, what remains of the original planning for the building, which included stables and a series of workshops. Upon entering, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen (it includes a fridge and freezer, oven and induction hobs, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, a juicer and a Nespresso coffee machine): with the provided pots, pans and cutlery you’ll have the essentials to prepare a delicious meal from scratch, with the freshest ingredients from the nearby food market on Via Baccina!

The kitchen includes a dining table and large sofa bed, which can be used for two extra guests. A smart-TV is also available.

From the kitchen you can also access the bathroom, featuring a shower, bidet and WC. In the closet behind the door you’ll find the washing machine, for all your laundry needs during your stay.

The master bedroom is marked by an amazing antique wardrobe, which dates back to the late 1800s. You’re free to use it to keep your clothes and travel essentials! The room is completed by a queen sized bed with bedside tables, a desk, a baggage rack and a bookshelf featuring the owners’ collection of books. Feel free to peruse the provided travel guides!

Both rooms come equipped with A/C and the flat has independent heating during colder seasons. All guests will enjoy a free of charge Wi-Fi connection.
